Harold Latrace Midget AA Pepsi Challenge
AA is the top level of Midget Minor Hockey in Saskatchewan, (with the exception of Midget AAA) a province with a population of approximately one million people. We invite you to bring your team to compete in this showcase of young talent from across North America.
The 2010 season will mark the 3rd annual Midget AA Showcase Tournament. This year and every year we hold a tournament for each level of all divisions of minor hockey.
All tournament games are held exclusively at Latrace Arena, a twin ice facility. Latrace #1 is a premiere rink where everyone wants to play and watch hockey, from novice to junior. There is adequate seating for at least 800 people in the rink, a licensed lounge overlooking Latrace #1, and top-notch lighting not seen in any other minor hockey facility in our city.
The tournament will be sanctioned by the Saskatchewan Hockey Association and will follow SHA and CHA rules governing minor hockey. All referees and linesmen are carded officials. All games are one fifteen (15) minute period and two twenty minute periods with a flood every second period. See (Rules and Guidelines)
All teams will play at least four games. Tournament games will begin on Friday November 26 and run on both sheets until Sunday November 28, 2010 evening. Trophies will be awarded to winning teams in each event and finalists in each event. In addition there will be an “All Star Team” and “MVP” award.
